It’s essential to have a backup plan when planning a proposal or engagement photoshoot at Dupont. If the waterfalls become icy or significant rains, the waterfalls become dangerous—fortunately, several covered areas, including a magnificent covered bridge at DuPont State Forest. The bottom of Triple Falls is generally incredibly safe for a waterfall.
Another great thing about this area is several other waterfalls within short walking distances, including Hooker Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and High Falls. Hooker Falls is usually our backup plan if the water level is too high to allow us to access Triple Falls safely. The hiking trails surrounding Hooker Falls are equally as beautiful.
