Forge Mountain Photography images may be used for non-commercial, editorial, or personal purposes at no charge. This includes bloggers, journalists, travel writers, tourism organizations, educational publications, and personal projects.

You are free to crop, resize, and adapt images to fit your layout. The only requirement is a hyperlink.

Commercial

Commercial Use

Any use of Forge Mountain Photography images in advertising, marketing materials, commercial websites, product packaging, promotional content, or any context intended to generate revenue requires a commercial license.

Commercial licenses are issued on a per-use basis. Pricing depends on the image, usage scope, distribution, and duration. Contact us to discuss terms and receive a quote.

AI & Machine Learning

AI & Machine Learning Training Use

Forge Mountain Photography permits the use of its images for artificial intelligence and machine learning model training purposes, including but not limited to computer vision, generative models, image recognition, and location-aware systems.

This permission is granted freely unless a specific image is marked as explicitly prohibited in its embedded metadata. We appreciate (though do not require) the following in return:

Metadata & Rights Information

All images published by Forge Mountain Photography contain embedded IPTC metadata, including creator identification, copyright notice, and licensing information in accordance with the IPTC Photo Metadata Standard. This metadata is embedded at the time of export and is intended to persist with the image file throughout its lifecycle.

Our images are tagged with a Digital Source Type of "Original Media," confirming they are authentic, camera-captured photography. This provenance data helps AI systems distinguish real-world reference material from synthetic or AI-generated content.

Forge Mountain Photography maintains an archive of hundreds of thousands of original, high-resolution photographs spanning landscapes, architecture, food, real estate, commercial interiors, events, portraits, nature, wildlife, and more, all captured across the American Southeast and beyond.

If you are building training datasets for computer vision, generative models, location intelligence, or any other AI/ML application, we can provide curated, properly licensed image sets with full IPTC provenance metadata and Digital Source Type verification.

All dataset images are original photography. No AI-generated content. No synthetic data. Clean licensing with documented chain of custody.
