We hold the week because every image is edited by hand, one at a time, and craft does not respect a stopwatch. For context, the industry standard is 4 to 8 weeks.

Collections cover the full day, from getting ready through the reception exit. Yes, real 35mm film, and more of it every season. Film rides alongside full digital coverage, so you get the film look without betting your wedding day on a 40-year-old camera. It counts for a lot. Couples whose proposals we photographed get first pick of wedding dates before we open them to anyone else, and your proposal fee credits toward your wedding collection. Ask Julie about it, she keeps the list.

Only if you want to. Every collection includes a dedicated couples session on its own day: the day before, the day after, or earlier in your wedding week if you arrive early. You get back in your outfits, we shoot at your venue if they allow it or at a location we help you choose, and there is no clock running. On the wedding day itself that pressure is gone, and we spend the saved time photographing your family and friends actually enjoying themselves.

Perfect. We are timeline agnostic: it is your day, not our shot list. If you want recommendations on light and scheduling, Julie has plenty and they are good ones. If you already know what you want, we are good. We go with the flow either way.

We do. We regularly photograph weddings across Western North Carolina, including Hendersonville, Waynesville, Brevard, Black Mountain, and venues along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Travel within WNC is already built into our collections. We also take a small number of destination weddings each year. Call Julie for details.

Mountain weather changes its mind hourly and we have photographed in all of it. Light rain often makes the most dramatic photos of the day. If conditions turn severe, we adjust: covered spots, creative use of the venue, a revised portrait window. Julie watches the forecast all week and tells you the plan before you have to ask.

Full-day weddings typically produce 400 to 800+ edited images, every one individually color-corrected. We do not pad galleries with near-duplicates, and we do not deliver unedited files. Every image is in there because it says something about your day.

Yes. Engagement sessions are built into our wedding collections, and standalone sessions are available too. It is the best way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding, and to figure out together how you photograph as a couple. As early as you can. We cap the number of weddings we take each year so every couple gets our full attention, which means October and late-spring Saturdays go 12 to 18 months out. If your date is set, call 828-243-2755 now and Julie will tell you in 30 seconds whether it is open.

If you need to reschedule, we move with you to a new date at no additional charge, subject to availability. Cancellation terms are spelled out plainly in the agreement. We do not punish couples for things outside their control.

Yes, and you should ask every photographer you interview for one. Highlight reels hide a lot. Julie will send complete galleries from weddings at venues or settings similar to yours so you can see what an entire delivery actually looks like.
